According to the release notes, Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09 Release Candidate 2 ships with the same Linux 4.1 LTS kernel packages, KDE Plasma 5.4 desktop environment, as well as the KDE Applications 15.08 software suite that were available in the previous milestone.
The Manjaro Linux development team notes the fact that the Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09 operating system will ship with a long-term supported Linux kernel to provide users with long-term viability, as well as the best hardware support available and top-notch features.
Among other changes incorporated in the second Release Candidate build of Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09, we can mention improvements to both the graphical and command-line installers, as well as the inclusion of the Calamares utility as an alternative graphical installer to Thus.
