14 DAY TRIAL // Footage shared on Facebook by law enforcement officers with the Winter Haven Police Department in Florida, US, shows a man going head to head with a bus only to be knocked unconscious moments after slamming into the vehicle.
The video, available below, shows the man hitting the bus and shattering a glass window, and then falling to the ground. Shortly after, he comes to his senses, gets back on his feet and makes a run for it.
This epic battle between man and bus is said to have happened over the weekend at the Winter Haven Area Transit terminal. The angry passenger has not yet been identified and the police are asking for help finding and catching him.
As for why he got so angry, law enforcement officers say the man slammed into the bus to protest the fare the bus driver had asked him to pay. Needless to say, the rebellion didn't go quite as planned.
“When the bus driver told him that it would be an additional $2 [€1.8] to travel to another stop, the rider became extremely agitated,” the Winter Haven Police Department writes in a Facebook post.
“Approximately four minutes later, the rider comes back and takes out his frustration on the bus by head butting the glass doors, shattering the glass,” law enforcement officers go on to detail.
Nobody was on the bus at the time when the man attacked it, so there were no reports of injuries. However, one can assume the angry passenger did get at least some scratches on his head.
