14 DAY TRIAL // Madonna is an unapologetic perfectionist: she works very hard so that everything she does comes out just the way she wants it, and she expects everyone around her to do the same. So if you’re under her employment, you’d better not complain or moan, or dare to gain a few extra pounds.
Insiders familiar with the situation tell Radar Online that she’s already working her backup dancers to exhaustion, in preparation for her upcoming Rebel Heart tour.
Madonna won’t stand for fatties on tour
Because she’s a perfectionist, Madonna expects everyone working with her to keep up, even if her demands happen to be impossible.
For instance, the report notes, she told her people that she will not stand for any “fat [expletive]s” in her presence, and that includes dancers and staff working on the production. They’re to watch their weight and always wear black around her, if they know they can’t meet her ideal standards for body weight.
“Fat” is a relative term as is, but if you know anything about Madonna, it probably means something entirely different than it does for regular mortals. Here is a 56-year-old woman who can put youngsters to shame, who is always very active and in top shape.
If she deems you “fat,” it probably means you’re not all muscle mass.
Madonna is being impossible, probably has no heart
That’s not even the worst part about the report, assuming it’s accurate. Insiders also reveal that, at one point, one of the female dancers broke her arm, and instead of being a bit sympathetic towards her, Madonna had a “nuclear meltdown” over it, as if it was something bad that had happened to her, and not the dancer.
Another dancer felt that he was so over-worked and underpaid that he threw his credentials into Madonna’s face and quit, and caused such a scene that she called in security to handle the situation.
Speaking of payment, it’s very little. Admittedly, Madonna acts as if the dancers should be grateful to her for hiring them on her troupe, but only because she’s Madonna.
“Her ego is so over-inflated and she thinks that her staff are lucky to be in her presence. She been a complete nightmare to work for and the tour has not even started yet,” says the spy.
