Despite the break in the season, the development team at EA Sports is ready to deliver some new content for the Ultimate Team mode in Madden NFL 16, allowing gamers access to some of the best players who have been part of the first round picks announced by the major teams.

Carson Wentz, Joey Bosa, Ezekiel Elliott and Jared Goff can now be obtained in packs and can then be used in match lineups, showing off their unique skills and offering a look at how they will impact the future of the real-world sport.

EA Sports states, "Madden Ultimate Team is the series’ fastest-growing mode, challenging fans to build the best team possible from an ever-growing collection of current NFL players, all-time legends, and newly-drafted rookies. Prove your skills either in Solo Challenges, or go online and take on other Ultimate Teams."

A free trial for Madden NFL 16 is at the moment offered on both the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4, which allows gamers to play the entire title until Monday, May 2, trying out both the single-player and Ultimate Team mode.

The Vault associated with the EA Access service allows gamers to play as much of the American football sim as they want and get a 10 percent price cut when they buy the full version.

Madden NFL 16 is preparing for a major Championship

In order to keep gamers engaged until it makes an official announcement about the next installment in the series, EA Sports is getting ready for the online qualifiers for a major Championship. This will allow the most dedicated members of the community to take part in a competition that will end with finals during the EA Play event in June.

The tournament features both classic Draft Champions and the new Salary Cap Ranked experience, which challenges gamers to work with limited funds to create a competitive team and then rival friends.

The overall prize pool for the Championship for Madden NFL 16 will be set at 50,000 dollars (43,000 Euro), and EA Sports has suggested that even more competitions are coming during the summer.

The development team has not announced any information about Madden NFL 17, but they have suggested that there are some important changes to be implemented in the Ultimate Team modes.

The game will probably be revealed in the coming month and will probably be launched in late August or early September on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
