The iOS 10.3 and tvOS 10.2 Betas remain the same

Apple has seeded the eighth Beta build of the upcoming macOS 10.12.4 Sierra operating system to registered developers and public beta testers, which signals that the final release is imminent.

Apple rarely releases a Beta 8 version for its supported operating systems, and this means that the Cupertino company has patched some last-minute bugs or security issues for the macOS 10.12.4 Sierra release before it's ready to hit the streets and invade users' computers with its new Night Shift functionality and other goodies.

macOS 10.12.4 Sierra Beta 8 is tagged as build 16E192b on our Apple Developer account, and it can be download and installed using the Sierra Developer Beta Access utility, but public beta testers using any of the previous Betas can update to this eighth and probably the last Beta version through the Mac App Store.

As with the previous macOS 10.12.4 Sierra Betas, Apple wants users to focus on testing the Night Shift feature, dictation support for the Shanghainese language, Siri support for checking Cricket player rosters, scores, and schedules from either the Indian Premier League or the International Cricket Council, as well as reading, writing and navigating of PDF documents using the system-provided APIs.

watchOS 3.2 Beta 7 available now for testing

Along with the release of the Beta 8 of macOS 10.12.4 Sierra, Apple also seeded the seventh Beta release of the upcoming watchOS 3.2 operating system for Apple Watch devices, which is tagged as build 14V5249a and available for download as an OTA update if you've updated your registered iPhone to last week's iOS 10.3 Beta 7.

The iOS 10.3 and tvOS 10.2 operating systems remained unchanged as Apple most probably has finished polishing the new features and prepares for the big launch as early as next week. If you're using a previous Beta version of macOS Sierra 10.12.4 or watchOS 3.2, we recommend updating your devices to the new Beta versions as soon as possible.
