m23, a free Linux distribution that installs and administrates clients with Debian, (XK)Ubuntu, openSUSE, Fedora and Linux Mint, is now at version 12.1.

The most important improvement in m23 12.1 is the introduction of the m23 remote administration service, which will provide support for user's servers from goos-habermann.de. Keep in mind that this realtime administration is a payable service.

The download mirrors were replaced and the client installation is now a lot faster, the script m23-xorg.conf-generator.sh, which is responsible for the creation of the xorg.conf file, has a more robust routine.

The Debian distribution comes with LibreOffice, and there is support for EXT4 filessystems, just to name a few of the biggest changes in m23 12.1.

The integration of existing Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04 LTS systems is now possible and the installation of OpenSuSE systems runs smoothly till the end, again.

A complete list of changes in available in the official announcement.
