AT&T is the only carrier in the United States that will offer at least one of the three Windows 10 handsets announced by Microsoft earlier this week.

Customers will be able to grab the Lumia 950 via AT&T, possibly beginning November. An exact release date hasn't been confirmed by the carrier yet, but Windows Phone fans hope the new devices will be available for purchase as early as possible.

Another place where customers will be able to buy the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL is Microsoft''s official store, which will sell them unlocked and SIM free.

However, word is that neither of the two will work on Verizon's network, as rumors suggest the Big Red has decided to block Microsoft's new smartphones from working on its bands.

Sprint's position is unclear for the moment, but we do know that T-Mobile is open to carrying any of the new Windows 10 smartphones announced by Microsoft, it's just that the Redmond-based company did not approach the Magenta carrier yet.

They are offered unlocked and SIM free

That being said, if you live in the United States the safest bet for purchasing the Lumia 950 and/or Lumia 950 XL would be the Microsoft Store.

The good news is both smartphones have already been listed online, though no one can purchase them yet. However, when they hit shelves, you will be able to get the Lumia 950 XL for just $650 outright.

The Lumia 950 has been price tagged yet, but Microsoft has already confirmed the smartphone will be available for $550 off contract.

It's also worth mentioning that Microsoft Store will also sell the AT&T-branded version of Lumia 950, though no price has been made available for this model either.

Even though they are not available for purchase yet, the listing of these devices on Microsoft Store is an indication that Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will soon hit shelves, possibly in early November.
