Google and HTC are working hard on developing the two upcoming Nexus smartphones, namely Nexus Sailfish and Marlin. Specs of the two devices have been leaking online for quite some time now, but there have been very few images of the handsets themselves.

Now it seems that pictures of the Nexus Sailfish have leaked online, showing the phone’s front, back, and sides. They have leaked over at Android Police and showcase the handset’s design, which is shared with Nexus Marlin.

The post reveals that the device won’t come with a plastic built, as it was previously rumored. The images show a two-tone, black and grey phone, with a fingerprint scanner on the back, just below the rear camera.

The smartphone has leaked in another image recently

Another image with the Nexus Sailfish has shown up on Twitter, revealing the same phone design as the pictures provided to us by Android Police. The handset seems to boast an all-metal build, with glass covering the top half of the rear shell.

Google is supposed to unveil the two upcoming Nexus smartphones in a month or two, and the devices expected to differ when it comes to screen size and other elements.

Specifically, Nexus Sailfish is said to sport a smaller, 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, as compared to the 5.5-inch screen with 2560 X 1440 pixel resolution on the Nexus Marlin. What's more, Nexus Sailfish could pack a 2,770mAh battery and run Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM.

It is expected to have 32GB of internal memory and have a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper. Nexus Marlin could feature the same processor model, rear and front camera capacities, but a larger battery of 3,450mAh. Both smartphones will run Android 7.0 Android out of the box.
