According to the appended shortlog, Linux kernel 3.4.108 LTS is here to improve the ARM, x86, Alpha, s390, PowerPC (PPC), and SPARC hardware architectures, update many file systems, including autofs4, CIFS, debugfs, eCryptfs, FUSE, HFS+, JFFS2, NFS, NILFS2, and OCFS2, as well as to add better support for some Wireless drivers. Also, various other networking and sound improvements landed in this release.

Additionally, numerous drivers have been updated in the new maintenance release of Linux 3.4 kernel, including, but not limited to, things like ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface), Bluetooth, CPUfreq, EDAC, general-purpose input/output (GPIO), DRM (mostly Radeon), InfiniBand, MD, MTD, networking, PCI, PCMCIA, SCSI, SPI, TTY, USB, and Xen.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.4.108 kernel. All users of the 3.4 kernel series must upgrade," says Zefan Li.
