The developers behind the popular Linux AIO project, which creates Live ISO images with the main or most important editions of a GNU/Linux distribution, were happy to inform Softpedia about the immediate availability for download of Linux AIO Debian Live 8.2.0.

As its version number suggests, the Linux AIO Debian Live 8.2.0 ISO image is based on the recently released Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 (Jessie) operating system. However, the good news is that it now includes the Cinnamon, GNOME, KDE, LXDE, MATE, and Xfce Live CD flavors of Debian GNU/Linux.

In other words, users will be able to download a single Live DVD ISO image that they can write on a USB flash drive, with the Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 Cinnamon, Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 GNOME, Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 KDE, Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 LXDE, Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 MATE, and Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 Xfce Live CDs.

In addition to the respective Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 (Jessie) Live flavors, the Linux AIO Debian Live 8.2.0 ISO image comes with two useful utilities, namely a hardware detection tool that lets users see if their computer's hardware components are supported by Debian GNU/Linux, as well as a memory diagnostic tool.

"Due to limitations on SourceForge servers (max 5GB file can be uploaded) we needed to split ISO files. This is done by archiving ISO with .7z archiver in two parts. You need to download both parts and then to extract them. For extracting these files all you need is to have .7z archiver installed on your computer," said the developers.

64-bit and 32-bit editions are available

As expected, users will be able to download the Linux AIO Debian Live 8.2.0 ISO images for either 64-bit or 32-bit hardware architectures. All the aforementioned Debian Live 8.2 (Jessie) editions are available for these two architectures. However, please note that you will have to download two 7z archives and then extract the first one to obtain the actual ISO image (see the developer's note above).

The Linux AIO project is known for building and distributing single and unique ISO images that contain multiple editions of a well-known GNU/Linux distribution, including Ubuntu, Debian, Linux Mint, Fedora, and Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE). Download Linux AIO Debian Live 8.2.0 right now from Softpedia.
