14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan’s years-long legal problems are water under the bridge now, and she’s trying to get her life back in order in Europe. She’s moved to London saying she was tired of everything back home in the US, including the media attention, and she’s spending most of her summer in all kinds of exotic locations in Europe.
She vacationed in Greece, hung out for weeks in Italy, returned to London briefly and then went back on the road. Last weekend, she attended a celebrity wedding in Florence, and in addition to wearing a white, bridal-looking gown (she wasn’t the bride, obviously), she also acted in very strange ways.
Lindsay Lohan claimed she’d been “slipped a mickey”
The two photos available with this article are from the wedding: the groom was Seychelles’ ambassador of tourism and consul general Justin Etzin and the bride was model Lana Zakocela.
Lindsay come under serious fire online from her own fans after posting the second one, from the Instagram embed, because it’s a well-known rule you’re not supposed to wear white to a wedding unless the dress code is black and white - let alone wear a bridal-looking white dress.
Page Six says that Lindsay was acting very strange throughout the ceremony, so the fact that she would try to outshine the bride is probably of least importance.
First of all, she left the reception early and “she’d gone back to her villa and was running around naked saying she was drugged.” She also claimed she had jewelry stolen from her at the party, so perhaps she believed that’s why someone had slipped her a mickey.
No word yet on whether she filed a complaint and, if so, if it turned up anything of relevance.
Lindsay was acting strange the entire night
Before she left because she claimed she’d been drugged, Lindsay had acted like a spoiled diva and had turned into a nightmare.
For starters, during the actual wedding ceremony, she painted her nails and was glued to the screen of her cellphone, even though she must have known it was rude. At one point in the evening, she was DJ-ing and she kept playing Brandy’s “The Boy Is Mine” for no apparent reason.
She was also speaking in a British accent (maybe because she considers herself a resident of London at this point?) and she caused a major stir when she thought someone had taken her photo without her permission.
That last part is actually a well-known Lohan pet peeve, but she was usually bothered by it when she thought people were taking her photo when she was doing something she wasn’t supposed to, like drinking or taking drugs when she was telling the world she was clean and sober.
As of the time of writing, Lohan has not addressed these claims on social media.
