Curvy model and health nut shack up, sparks fly

Because nothing makes better television than conflict, on July 8, Lifetime will be premiering a new docuseries that will see 2 diametrically opposed women shack up for a short while. Go grab the popcorn, Living with the Enemy is coming.

Embedded below is a preview for the first episode, which will see curvy model Kristy Love go up against health nut and fitness expert Michel Marley. If Love’s face or name rings a bell, it’s because she’s famous for having 48NN natural breasts and for appearing on TLC’s Strange Love.

She makes a living out of looking this way, with some men willing to pay good money for certain services she can provide. The idea is that she’s heavy and, as per her own admission, happy. She’s also on a mission to end what she calls “weight discrimination,” by standing up to fat- or size-shaming and by telling women that the heavier the better they are.

Obviously, Marley doesn’t feel the same way. She thinks Love is “glamorizing obesity,” in a context in which America is already dealing with a serious weight-related health crisis. Having more “role models” like her will make those with a problem even less likely to seek a solution for it.

As expected, sparks fly from the moment these 2 meet, and the preview promises many tearful and scandalous moments between them. They’re supposed to live together for 8 days, 4 days at the house of each.

Only the first episode of the docuseries will be weight-focused, though.
