14 DAY TRIAL // The Document Foundation just announced that LibreOffice 5.0.2, the second minor release for the 5.0 branch, has been released and is now available for download.
Even if LibreOffice 5.0 has been deemed as the best release so far in the series, and it's also the version that got the most downloads and activations, it doesn't mean that it's a perfect one. Developers still need to correct all the stuff that's been reported by the community and for that we'll still get some of these intermediary releases.
As usual, people will need to keep in mind that no new features will be added, and this is all about bug fixes. Only a couple of Release Candidates have been made available, and we covered both of them. There is a ton of changes, but some of the most notable have to do with DOCX integration and usage, and some OpenGL improvements.

Many users don't know that LibreOffice is built by freelance developers, and they are not hired by The Document Foundation. They work on this office suite in their own time, which is an incredible feat on its own. The only problem is that they usually choose what to work on, but that choice is based on the feedback from the community.
