LG has been openly promoting its upcoming flagship smartphone, as the company has periodically dropped hints and specifics on the features that we'll enjoy on the V20. Although details on the specs haven't been provided, LG has disclosed many of the features that we should expect on the V20.

LG has released a teaser in order to promote the upcoming V20 flagship. The teaser video has been posted on the LG USA Mobile Twitter page, and it reveals some of the features that will be offered on the upcoming device.

The LG V20 is said to be the world's first smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, although it could be released after the two upcoming Nexus Sailfish and Marlin are made available for purchase.

The video promotes Android Nougat on V20 extensively

The video released by LG is quite short, just 47 seconds during which LG talks about the features that will make multitasking in the kitchen really easy. Specifically, the video shows how LG V20 could help users when cooking and makes an analogy with the features that Android 7.0 Nougat offers on the V20.

Users will be able to reply to messages without actually opening the app, and Quick Reply from lock screen will also be introduced in upcoming versions. Aside from this, the video shows how users can quickly switch between two apps, without having to browse through all apps open in the background. Nougat's drag and drop feature allows users to organize their most used quick settings and drop text to copy between apps.

The V20 is projected to come with a 5.5-inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and a secondary display, just like its predecessor, the V10. It could also pack a quad-core CPU and Snapdragon 820 SoC. Other rumored specs are Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, 4GB of RAM, a 21MP rear camera, and an 8MP selfie snapper. Battery capacity could reach 4,000mAh.

In the video, LG confirms once again that the V20 will be unveiled on September 6 in San Francisco, but there's no word yet on the release date.
