One of this fall’s anticipated tech events is going to see Google unveil two Nexus smartphones (one made by LG and the other by Huawei) and roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the public as well.

In recent weeks, we have been seeing an avalanche of leaks regarding the two smartphones, and that’s how we know that the LG-made Nexus will be called the Nexus 5X.

We are less than a week and a half away from Google’s media event, and this week another information tidbit has surfaced online revealing a previously unknown detail about the Nexus 5X. Apparently, Google will release the Nexus 5X in the white and black coloring options, as well as “mint.”

Interestingly enough, the source, which is also showing us two images of this model, claims that the phone’s paint job resembles a “tennis court mint,” so the real-life color might be a little stronger than what we’re shown in the images.

Purported LG Nexux 5X specs

We expect the Nexus 5X to make a debut into the wild with a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. Many rumors have been claiming that both Nexus smartphones will feature QHD displays, but it looks like the Nexus 5X will have to settle for 1080p, while the Huawei Nexus will be getting the premium 2K treatment.

Moving along, the smartphone should be powered by a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 2GB of RAM. LG will also throw in either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, so customers who want/need more memory will have to pay extra.

On the back, the Nexus 5X will feature a 13MP photo snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording, while in the front there will be a 5MP selfie camera. Last but not least, the handset will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out the box and will be powered by a 2,700 mAh battery with fast charging technology.

No word on what coloring options the Huawei Nexus is going to sport, but hopefully we’re going to see an atypical option in its case as well. We’ll know for sure if this is the case soon enough.
