We're less than three weeks away from the next major event scheduled by Google and new details about its upcoming Nexus smartphones emerged.

We already know Google plans to launch two Nexus smartphones made by different manufacturers, and thanks to a few press renders leaked over the weekend, we also know what the LG-made Nexus smartphone looks like.

Today, a new photo of the same LG Nexus 5X has been leaked via Italian blog Glistockisti. Along with the live picture of the smartphone we also get another round of leaked specs, which might or might not prove to be accurate in the end.

According to the cited source, the Nexus 5X will sport a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

After many rumors claiming both Nexus smartphones will come with Quad HD displays, it looks like Google has settled with a full HD display for the Nexus 5X and a Quad HD screen for the Nexus 6X (or whatever the name) made by Huawei.

Nothing new in terms of specs

Furthermore, LG Nexus 5X should be powered by a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone will pack either 32GB or 64GB of storage, so customers who want higher amount of internal memory will have to pay more.

On the back, the Nexus 5X will feature a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording, while in the front there will be a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

As many of you can notice from the picture leaked, the Nexus 5X will come with a round fingerprint scanner that's been positioned on the back side, right below the camera.

Last but not least, the smartphone will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box and it will be powered by a 2,700 mAh battery with fast charging technology.

Google is expected to unveil both Nexus smartphones on September 29. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is likely to be released on the same date, too.
