The sequel to the G Pro 2 is already in the works, and according to a new report citing Chinese sources, the smartphone will be a real beast when it comes to specs.
LG G Pro 3 has been confirmed by the rumor mill to pack a stunning 6-inch capacitive touchscreen display that should support Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 490ppi (pixel per inch).
LG is very experienced when it comes to phablets, so we have no doubt that the G Pro 3 will be as stylish as a 6-inch smartphone can be.
But the huge QHD display is not the only strong point of the LG G Pro 3, as the word is the phablet is expected to pack no less than 4GB of RAM.
Fingerprint scanner and support for pupil recognition
We also know that the upcoming high-end smartphone should be equipped with Qualcomm's new Snadpragon 820 chipset, which hasn't been released yet.
On the back, LG G Pro 3 will boast a 20.7-megapixel photo snapper with Sony sensor, LED flash, laser focus, and 4K video recording, while on the front there will be a no less impressive 8-megapixel camera for state-of-the-art selfies and video calls.
The G Pro 3 will pack 32GB of internal memory, but it will also allow users to further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
According to @Leaksfly, LG G Pro 3 will also feature fingerprint scanner, as well as support for pupil recognition. The smartphone is expected to ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.
Last but not least, LG G Pro 3 is rumored to arrive on the market by the end of 2015 and should cost around $790 outright.
