LG recently introduced the X300 in South Korea, a cheap mid-range smartphone powered by Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset will make its way to the shelves in the coming days and it will cost just $235.

However, LG did not say anything about the availability of the X300 outside South Korea. Well, it appears that a slightly downgraded version has just landed in the United States. LG and T-Mobile have teamed up for the release of Aristo, an affordable smartphone that ships with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

Just like the X300, LG Aristo sports a 5-inch display that supports HD (720p) resolution. As mentioned earlier, this looks like a downgraded version of the X300, which is why it costs much less.

According to T-Mobile, LG Aristo is available for $0 down and $6 per month for two years. The Uncarrier will start selling the smartphone on January 25 and customers will be able to get it for $144 outright as well.

On the other hand, MetroPCS will offer the LG Aristo starting January 23 for just $59 after instant rebate. So customers will have enough options to choose from.

Aside from the 5-inch HD display, the LG Aristo has been confirmed to pack a 13-megapixel camera on the back, which features LED flash and autofocus.

In the front side, LG Aristo features a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. When it comes to hardware, LG's affordable smartphone is far from being impressive.

It packs a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable via microSD card).

LG X300 features the same hardware configuration, but the amount of RAM has been boosted to 2GB. It's also worth mentioning that LG Aristo is powered by a 2,410mAh battery, whereas the X300 comes with a slightly larger 2,500 battery inside.
