Heroes of the Storm developer Blizzard has just revealed a fresh spotlight video for the next character coming to the impressive multiplayer game, Leoric the Skeleton King.

Heroes of the Storm has received quite a few new things in recent months, as not only did Blizzard roll out the final version of the multiplayer brawler but it also kept a steady stream of new hero releases, starting with Kael'thas and continuing with Johanna or the Butcher.

Now, the next big character coming to Heroes of the Storm, Leoric, has just received a special spotlight video from Blizzard, portraying his different abilities and powers.

Leoric brings a special trait and packs a punch

As you can see in the footage below, Leoric, the Skeleton King from Diablo 3, arrives in Heroes of the Storm with some very interesting powers, chief among which being his trait, Undying, which allows him to wander the map as a ghost when killed. By performing basic attacks and deploying his abilities, he can affect the battle and reduce his death timer. What's more, when he resurrects, he returns in the exact spot where his ghost is, adding another layer to his complexity.

The powerful warrior employs his heavy mace in the Skeletal Swing attack, as well as his ghostly powers in the Wraith Walk ability. Last but not least, Drain Hope allow him to damage foes and heal himself.

His two heroic abilities allow him to go on a rampage, through March of the Black King, or trap others, through Entomb. Both have advantages and disadvantages, so Blizzard expects players to try out various builds depending on the situation.

Check out his various abilities below, as well as his two extra skins. Leoric arrives in Heroes of the Storm in the near future. While Blizzard isn't ready to share a concrete release date just yet, he might arrive next week, on July 21. Expect to hear more about the skeletal warrior in the following days.
