14 DAY TRIAL // Lenovo does have some really powerful flagship smartphones, but the company also releases many mid-range and entry-level devices to address all market segments. The latest offering from Lenovo is the Vibe B, which has recently been spotted on Orange Romania, as tipped by Roland Quandt.
The smartphone appears to come with a 4.5-inch TFT capacitive display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution. If that wasn’t enough to identify it as an entry-level handset, then perhaps knowing that it'll provide 1GB of RAM capacity would do.
Aside from this, it seems to pack a MediaTek 6735m quad-core processor, clocked at 1GHz. 8GB of internal space is offered, together with the option to add more using a micro-SD card. The phone also comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP selfie snapper.
It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and has a 2,000mAh battery, which Orange Romania says can last up to 11 hours in 3G conversation mode and 176 hours in standby time. It can connect to 4G networks, comes with GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Lenovo Vibe B weighs 144g and comes in a black color variant
The device measures 132.5 x 66 x 9.9 mm and weighs 144g. Orange Romania is offering the device unlocked, and the retail packaging comes with the phone, the charger, and the manual, but no headphones, unfortunately.
The smartphone is offered in a black color variant and is priced at $80 (€72) or €9 per month with Orange Me 14 plan. It’s quite an affordable offering, but considering the specs, it shouldn’t carry a higher price tag. This seems to be the first listing of the Vibe B at a network carrier, and there’s no official announcement from Lenovo.
Recently, Lenovo released the Vibe K5 Note in India and an upgraded version of the K5 Plus, with added RAM reaching 3GB and a 2,750mAh battery. In addition, it had a 5-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 616 processor.
