14 DAY TRIAL // After revealing the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones, Chinese company Lenovo announced the upcoming availability of four new Android tablets. It's very common for Lenovo to bring a new lineup of slates at Mobile World Congress, so it looks like this year was no exception.
The new Tab 4 Series comprises four new tablets (pure coincidence?), which will be available for purchase in either black or white beginning May 2017. The cheaper of the four, Lenovo Tab 4 8, costs €169, while the Tab 4 10 will sell for €179.
The other two slates announced by Lenovo, the Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus will be available for purchase for €259 and €299, respectively.
Lenovo will also provide customers with a wide range accessories for its new Tab 4 Series, including a Kid's Pack that features a shock resistant bumper, blue-light filter and stickers. A Productivity Pack with Bluetooth keyboard that will turn these tablets into 2-in-1 devices will be available as well.
It's worth mentioning that all four tablets will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, either full HD or HD displays, and Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, coupled with 2GB or 4GB RAM.
But let's start with the cheaper ones, the Tab 4 8 and Tab 4 10, which sport 8-inch and 10-inch HD displays. They are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB (32GB depending on model) storage.
According to Lenovo, both Tab 4 8 and Tab 4 10 slates feature stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos audio support for a better experience for music lovers. Both are powered by 4,850 mAh batteries and feature microUSB ports.
The other two tablets, Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus, as their names suggest, come with 8-inch and 10-inch full HD displays. They're also equipped with 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processors and 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
The Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus tablets also pack fingerprint sensors, 32GB (64GB depending on model) storage, as well as 4,850 mAh and 7,000 mAh battery, respectively. These two are charging through USB Type-C ports.
