If there are still people out there who still believe, through a sheer childish naivete, that existing ThinkPads can still be called as such, then the new ThinkPad Yoga can put an end to that blissful ignorance.

The old boxy, sturdy, elegant, and most importantly, black ThinkPad design became so known back in the '90s that it rivals Apple's famous white. You can't have a brand without associating it with a certain color, and that's what IBM and later Lenovo have done... until now.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad 260 and 460, both of which will be arriving this fall, contain the silver option together with the black one, and it's for the first time that Lenovo sells a ThinkPad other than black.

Besides, the main change that is the laptop's color, the new Yogas also come with Windows 10 pre-installed and arrive with an unnamed 6th-generation CPU, probably a Skylake U installed, 16GB of DDR3L and optional PCIe SSDs. When you think of it, the news isn't bad at all, but the sudden optional silver color will disappoint many regarding the Lenovo brand.

Can Lenovo's new lineup save its dire financial situation?

When it comes to the ThinkCentre M900 Tiny, this is a small machine that caters more to a ThinkPad that it isn't than to the actual ThinkPads that are probably no more. In short, it carries the ThinkPad design while being a business desktop that looks nice and has the width of a pen.

The new M900 series come with additional M700 and M600 Tiny desktops and are made to pass all physical reliability tests, Lenovo claiming it to be "the world's most "dust free" desktop" allowing users to buy an optional dust shield and prevent the accumulation of dust that impacts computer performance to about 37%.

The new ThinkCenter series will feature the latest 6th-generation Intel Core Processors, most likely Skylake-U or H, and has tools like Intel vPro, PC Cloud Manager and Microsoft SCCM to help IT managers help businesses equipped with the new ThinkCenters solve any issues that could appear.

Launching the new ThinkPad and ThinkCenter lines, Lenovo hopes it will leverage the deep economic crisis is passing through at the moment, while PC sales are still at the lowest level in the past decade.

According to TechPowerUp, ThinkPad YOGA 260 and 460 starting prices are $949 and $1049 respectively, and ThinkCentre M900, M700, M600 Tiny desktops will be available in selected countries from Q4 2015 with a starting price of $749, $499 and $399 respectively.
