Lenovo has launched a refresh of the IdeaPad laptops, this time going for three models that will all become available in June in a series of colorful versions.

The new laptops, namely the 720S, the 320S, and the standard 320, will be sold in white, black, silver, blue, red, and purple and will come with displays between 15 inches and 17 inches.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 320, for example, comes with a 15-inch screen and will be priced from $439.99, as it’s the most affordable configuration from the refreshed lineup. Prices go up as you go for better hardware, so if you choose the 17-inch version, the starting price of $489.99 almost doubles if you pick the Intel Core i7 chip, 16GB RAM and 2TB storage.

Lenovo 720S, the best of the best

On the other hand, if you want the best of the best, you have to go for the 720S, which comes with a 14-inch full HD display and can be equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, 512GB storage and 1GB RAM. Pricing for this model starts at $969.99, but you obviously have to pay substantially more if you go for better hardware.

The 720S is the more premium IdeaPad, and it comes with a new design that reduces bezels, with Lenovo itself claiming that it features a 14-inch screen into the chassis of a 13-inch laptop. It uses a magnesium and aluminum body and is available in just two colors, namely gold and silver.

Since they all run Windows 10, Lenovo is also offering some features to make the most of the OS, including support for Windows Hello, which makes it possible to use biometric authentication to protect your desktop, though this feature is only available on the more expensive 720S.

Sales of the new laptops will begin next month, and Lenovo says they’re included in the back-to-school campaign, though it’s a little bit too early for that since we’re only in May.
