14 DAY TRIAL // Lenovo is one of the biggest smartphone makers out there, and the company has just launched three devices during IFA 2016. Lenovo has announced the Lenovo K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note, all with metal casings, Phonebunch reports.
Lenovo K6 is available in three color options, namely Dark Gray, Gold and Silver. It comes with stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos surround. In addition, the smartphone has support for LTE networks and packs a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, together with an Adreno 505 graphics processing unit.
The handset sports a 5.0-inch Full HD display and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. Rear camera capacity reaches 13MP with LED flash, and there’s also a front unit of 8MP. The fingerprint sensor is also available on the phone that, in addition, has 4G LTE support, dual SIM, GPS, and Wi-Fi. Battery capacity reaches 3,000mAh, and the device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The smartphones will go on sale this month
Next in line is Lenovo K6 Power, which has the same size and type of display, processor model and power, as well as the operating system version. Camera capabilities on the two smartphones are identical, and the K6 Power also comes with a fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos support. However, it gets its Power moniker thanks to its significantly larger battery of 4,000mAh, compared to the Lenovo K6’s.
The smartphone also comes in two variants, depending on RAM capacity and internal storage. Consequently, Lenovo K6 Power is available in a variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the other variant has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Lenovo K6 Note brings a larger display to the series, more precisely, a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD. However, the smartphone features the same type and model of processor and thus has the same graphics processing unit. In addition, the handset comes in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and the other with 4GB of RAM, while internal storage stays the same on both models, namely 32GB. Rear camera capacity is 16MP with dual-LED flash, and battery capacity reaches 4,000mAh.
The smartphones are expected to be available sometime in September, but there are no details on pricing yet.
