Lenovo has been rather silent regarding its Android Marshmallow update roadmap. Although we had our fair share of leaks, not much is known about the company's plans to upgrade some of its smartphones and tablets to Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Today, the folks over at AndroidAuthority have just learned that at least several Lenovo smartphones will receive Android Marshmallow upgrade next year.

The information was presented by Lenovo during a launch event in China, and the list contains many popular smartphones such as those mentioned in the article's title.

The good news is we now finally know which smartphones will receive the Marshmallow update in China and the rest of the world (ROW), so depending on what version of the device you own, you might get it earlier or slightly later.

The first thing we noticed is the first Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates will hit Lenovo smartphones in March 2016. That's a bit later than we have originally thought, but as the saying goes, better late than never.

The last updates should hit Lenovo smartphones in July

First of all, the slide that details Lenovo's Android update roadmap states the K3 Note will receive a Lollipop upgrade, possibly Android 5.1.1, in January 2016.

In March 2016, the following smartphones will receive the Android Marshmallow upgrades, but not necessarily in that order: Lenovo K3 Note (ROW), Lenovo Vibe X3, and Lenovo Vibe P1.

On the other hand, Lenovo K3 Note and Lenovo A7000 (ROW) will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in April 2016.

Furthermore, Lenovo plans to offer Marshmallow updates for Vibe X3 (ROW), Vibe P1 (ROW), and Vibe S1 (ROW), starting May 2016.

Last but not least, Lenovo Vibe X3 (ROW) and Lenovo A7000+ (ROW) should receive Marshmallow updates beginning July 2016.

Keep in mind that additional Lenovo devices might receive Marshmallow updates next year, but the ones mentioned here seem to have been confirmed by the Chinese company.
