Three iPhones revealed in the most recent leak

If you’re an Apple enthusiast, you probably know that Cupertino is expected to introduce a new iPhone generation next month, and the chances are that the new model will be super similar in terms of looks to the current 6s lineup.

But according to this newly leaked video, Apple is planning to unveil not two, but three different iPhone models, as the company will also introduce a Pro version of its flagship device.

First and foremost it’s worth mentioning that what we see here are iPhone dummies, so there’s a big chance that the video is inaccurate, and a Pro model is not planned by Apple. But on the other hand, this isn’t the first time we’re hearing about the Pro version of the next iPhone, so it’s hard to tell for the moment if the 2016 iPhone lineup comprises two or three models.

This video presents all the visual changes that we’ve heard about before, including the new cameras - the standard 4.7-inch iPhone will get a larger unit moved slightly closer to the top left corner while the Plus model will boast a dual camera configuration. The antenna lines have been moved to the top and bottom sides of the phone while the headphone jack has been removed and replaced with a secondary speaker grille

No dual cameras on the Pro?

As far as the Pro version of the iPhone is concerned, there’s something fishy here. The video shows a model that looks exactly the same as the iPhone Plus, featuring a 5.5-inch screen, but a regular camera, and not a dual-camera setup. This is kind of weird, especially because the Pro model would be a more powerful iPhone than the Plus, so not coming with a better camera doesn’t make sense.

The Smart Connector that has been rumored to be available on the Pro is nowhere to be seen in this video, so the Pro is, according to this video, just a bigger version of the standard iPhone.

The only scenario that makes sense is a different configuration of the next iPhone lineup: the standard model that comes with a 4.7-inch screen, the Plus model with the same single-lens camera as on the smaller brother (and which we think is the Pro in this video), and a Pro version that features dual cameras.

Certainly, it’s hard to tell what’s true and what’s not at the moment, so a certain amount of skepticism is needed when watching this video.
