The Vivaldi developers are back at work bringing us more Snapshot builds towards the final and first-ever stable release of the cross-platform and proprietary web browser for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.375.3 is, in fact, the second milestone in 2016, but the changes are overwhelming, as in only two weeks since the release of Snapshot 1.0.365.3, which brought the first fixes for 2016, the Vivaldi developers managed to fix over 50 issues reported by users (the entire changelog has been attached at the end of the article).

"Today's snapshot focuses on bug fixing, with more than fifty fixes and improvements since last build," said Ruarí Ødegaard in the release announcement. "As always, let us know if you see any regressions and feel free to remind us of critical fixes that are needed as we approach a final."

Vivaldi 1.0 coming later this year

We mentioned this last time we talked about Vivaldi, but we'll remind you again that the final release of the upcoming web browser should be unveiled later this year. Vivaldi 1.0 will be the first stable release, promising to capture some of the existing Opera and Chrome users.

Many of our readers already know what to expect from Vivaldi 1.0, but we will have an exclusive first look at its features when it approaches launch day, as well as a comparison between Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera web browsers if users request it.

If you wish to test the new Snapshot build on your favorite operating system, you can download Vivaldi Snapshot 1.0.375.3 right now from Softpedia for the GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems. However, please try to keep in mind that it is a pre-release version, not ready for production use.
