14 DAY TRIAL // Guild Software has published this past week three updates to their popular and multi-platform Vendetta Online MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) title, which bring many improvements across all supported platforms.
The Vendetta Online 1.8.410, 1.8.411, and 1.8.412 updates have been released since our previous report, and they introduce quite a bunch of things. We'll start with the 1.8.410 build as it's the largest, introducing the ability for TempKoS players to collect faction losses for a certain faction during the entire TempKoS period.
For TempKoS players with a specific faction, the Vendetta Online 1.8.410 update makes it possible not to obtain standing for a specific faction during the entire TempKoS period. Furthermore, it looks like the "/vote mute" command will now succeed with only five votes, remaining muted for 30 minutes at a time.
"Players found to be abusing the mute-voting feature may be permanently stripped of their ability to vote, and muted themselves for an extended period," read the release notes. The 1.8.410 update also expands the ship selection list cargo branch by default and adds Decelerate to the list of available commands for analog inputs.
Furthermore, the collision damage won't reset the shield repair timer of a capship, it will no longer be necessary to trigger NFZ TempKoS if a player shoots their own capship, and players that are docked to a capship that's not theirs while entering the Monitored or Guarded spaces will be automatically ejected from the respective capship.
What's new in Vendetta Online 1.8.411 and 1.8.412
Among the new features implemented in the Vendetta Online 1.8.411 update, we can mention the implementation of two new cockpit designs to VR (Virtual Reality), which can be selected from Options -> VR Options -> Cockpit Design, UI improvements to the upcoming Google Daydream release, and better Android 4.4 support.
The Vendetta Online 1.8.412 update also introduces a new cockpit model for VR, but it makes it possible to abort the logoff timer when taking damage, makes the plugin chat activity more transparent to those who use it by echoing private messages to chat instead of the caller, and lets muted players to command their capship remotely through msg commands.
Guild Software also informs players who own a premium account and have never paid that they're not eligible to become long-term subscribers if the subscription key is not valid for at least a year. All users are urged to update their game to the Vendetta Online 1.8.412 release as soon as possible. Check out the attached changelog for more details.
