Kim Kardashian is still promoting her book of selfies, “Selfish,” which came out in April, and she somehow landed the cover of this month’s Rolling Stone magazine, a music magazine. She also gets a full interview, in which she talks about self-promotion, feminism, Kanye and her famous dad, who got O.J. Simpson off the hook on murder charges.

You can see the artwork for the cover and a photo from inside the magazine in the gallery below. The shoot was by controversial photographer Terry Richardson and, again inexplicably, had a certain sailor vibe about Kim’s styling.

Kim is a feminist, not a role model

In between name-dropping Kanye, who might be the only reason she was even considered for the cover of a music magazine, Kim also talks about feminism and whether she identifies as a feminist.

Before that, she makes one thing clear: she is not a role model. Kim is not ashamed to admit that what she does for a living isn’t what most people would consider a proper “job,” but she’s making a bucketload of money off of it and she’s having fun.

Because she’s just being herself, she’s not trying to tell anyone that hers is the only way of living people should aspire to, she tells the publication. She’s just doing what she knows to do, so she would not presume to say others should too.

However, if anyone does consider her a role model, then she’s flattered and honored by it; but this is simply not something she’s actively seeking out.

“I’ve never really been one on labels, and I don’t like to push my view,” she continues. “If I feel something, it’s how I feel. I never say, ‘I feel this way, so you should feel that way.’ Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but I just am who I am. But, yeah. I think you would call me a feminist.”

Chit-chatting with Kim

In the same interview, Kim says that her brother Rob, who hasn’t been seen out in public for over a year, spends most of his time drinking beer, smoking weed, eating fast food and playing video games with friends, which has made his weight problem worse.

She talks about her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, and recalls living with him at the time of the Simpson trial, and talks about her step-father Bruce, who is now known a transgender Caitlyn Jenner.

Kanye also comes up, with Kim crediting him for being so understanding of Bruce’s transition: apparently, she told him about what was happening to Bruce before they got married, so he would have the right idea of their family issues. He was very understanding and supportive, she gushes.
