One of her most famous crying rants is now forgotten

Kim Kardashian doesn’t cry that often on camera because, as per her own admission, she is a very ugly crier, but when she does, it’s memorable. So no wonder the Internet is rushing to remind her that the photo she’s recently gushed over is the same one that made her freak out completely, in what can only be described as “reality television gold.”

You can see the segment in the video below. It aired in 2011 and was about a spread Kim had done the previous year for W Magazine, which showed her covered in silver bodypaint, with all her famous curves on display.

Kim freaked out, but is ok now

The footage aired on Keeping Up with the Kardashians (of course) and served as a message to all other magazines looking to book Kim for a spread of this kind: she was absolutely, for all eternity, most definitely done with nude photoshoots.

Speaking with her mother and manager Kris Jenner on the phone, she argued that she’d been misled by the people at the magazine, who had promised to cover her body and protect her modesty with artwork.

She used words like “violated” and “taken advantage of” to describe how she was feeling, saying she would even go as far as to “fire” everyone who had worked on this deal that had so badly disappointed her.

Her crying freak-out is, as noted above, one of the most memorable moments on the family’s reality show and sits in a hall of fame that includes other scenes in which Kim ugly-cried for whatever reason.

She’s ok now: Kim no longer feels like she’s been taken advantage of and tricked into removing her clothes for a photospread. If anything, she’s proud of the shoot now.

#TBT and fake storylines

Kim often posts older photos on her social media accounts. Her latest Throwback Thursday pic is of her covered in silver bodypaint, lying in a pool of paint while gazing up at a camera.

If you guessed that it’s from the aforementioned, much criticized (by Kim) W Magazine spread, you’re right. “#TBT shooting my @wmag cover,” Kim writes in the caption.

For the record, Kim never posts unflattering photos of herself, whether for the throwback sessions or new selfies. She considers herself a master in the art of selfie-ing, if there is such a thing, so all pics that go up online on her official channels are photos she’s most proud of.

Now, who would have thought the Kardashians faked storylines and created non-existent drama for ratings? Don’t answer that, it’s rhetoric. Of course they do it, all the time.
