14 DAY TRIAL // Khloe Kardashian agreed to do her most revealing, raciest shoot, for the latest issue of Complex Magazine. The issue is out now, and obviously, everyone’s talking about how great she looks and how she seems to be in the best shape ever.
This has also led to speculation on the hours of Photoshop it took to make her look this good. The Kardashians aren’t plagued just by plastic surgery rumors: they’re also called out whenever they do a shoot that seems to bear little in common to their daily paparazzi photo-ops.
And Khloe’s insane Complex shoot has almost nothing to do with how she presents herself on a red carpet or on daily errand runs.
No Photoshop here, move along
The moment the spread hit social media, voices started to point out (again) how fake the entire Kardashian clan was, using Khloe as an example. She’d gotten her backside and breasts down, her lips plumped up and then she had some guy basically draw her idea of a perfect body in Photoshop.
To shut all these “trolls” up, Khloe has released a before and after side-by-side comparison, which you can find below. It’s meant to show the world that the body we see is the body she has, because Photoshop was only used on her spread to remove shadows and smoothen out skin.
She also asks to be given a bit more credit for the work she puts in at the gym. It might seem unbelievable to many, but she really does work hard to stay in shape and look this good.
Khloe defends Kylie for dating a much older man
Another topic that’s getting people into heated discussions online right now is the way in which Khloe defends her sister Kylie Jenner’s relationship with the rapper Tyga in the interview with Complex.
Kylie is 17 now and Tyga is 25. They’ve been dating since she was 16 or 15, which led to Tyga’s previous relationship, with Blac Chyna, to come apart. Tyga and Chyna also have a son together.
As Khloe puts it, girls of Kylie’s age tend to fall for slightly older guys in general, but she still believes Kylie should be given a pass because she’s no ordinary teenager. She doesn’t mention the number one reason this relationship is controversial, namely the fact that Tyga is guilty of statutory rape.
“I think at 16 I was probably [expletive]-ing someone that was in their twenties, for sure,” Khloe says. “I wouldn’t say I was even dating, probably just sleeping with them. But again Kylie is not a normal 17-year-old. You’re not gonna say, ‘Hey, so what are you doing this weekend?’ and have her say, ‘Having a slumber party at my girlfriend’s,’ or ‘Going to prom.’ That’s not what Kylie does. Kylie is taking business meetings and bought her first house, or she’s going on a private plane with Karl Lagerfeld to take a meeting. That’s not even what people do in their thirties. It’s a rare circumstance, so let’s treat this as a special case.”
In other words, Kylie might be 17 years old, but she’s wiser beyond her age. This is actually an argument that Tyga used too in a recent interview, in which he tried to defend his relationship with the youngest of the Kardashian - Jenner clan.
