KDE Applications 16.08.2 coming October 13 for the KDE Plasma 5.8 LTS desktop

We've already told you what's new in the Kdenlive 16.08.1 video editor, as its developer wanted to publish a separate announcement with all the changes since Kdenlive 16.04, but if you're curious to know what new features or improvements the other KDE apps updated in KDE Applications 16.08.1 have received, check out the full changelog.

KDE Applications 16.08.1 is already in the Arch Linux repositories if you want to update, and it will soon come with other GNU/Linux distros as well. In the meantime, the development cycle of KDE Applications 16.08 software suite will continue with the second point release, namely KDE Applications 16.08.2, on October 13, 2016.

After that, there will be one more maintenance version released for KDE Applications 16.08, version 16.08.3, which should be out on November 10. By then, the KDE Plasma 5.8 LTS desktop environment will have its third point release out as well for all you KDE fans out there. Enjoy!
