Judith Sheindlin, aka Judge Judy, aka the star of the highly successful courtroom series of the same name, is being sued by the ex-wife of one of her producers, who is accusing her of scheming to rob her of her very expensive and fine china.

Patric Jones has filed court papers against Judy and Randy Douthit, her ex-husband and Judy’s producer. In them, she claims that both orchestrated a master plan to cheat her out of lots of money, Christofle tableware included.

TMZ obtained the papers, reporting that Jones is seeking punitive damages, as well as $514,421.14 (€394,918.54) which she believes is a correct estimation of the china she was, more or less, robbed of.

“Jones alleges in the suit, filed by Bev Hills attorney Perry Wander, Douthit sold Judy the goods for a measly $50,000 [€38,384], without her knowledge or consent. Jones claims Judy knew full well the deal was revenge against her,” TMZ reports.

She also alleges that the two worked together to cheat her out of her share of the money in the divorce.

“Jones claims Randy agreed to reduce his profit participation in the Judge Judy show so he wouldn't have to fork over as much money in the divorce settlement,” notes the same media outlet.

In a scathing statement to the e-zine, Judy says that she hasn’t even been served with the papers, but insists that all allegations made in the suit are absurd, more likely the words of a scorned woman looking for payback.

“I have not seen any complaint by the former Mrs. Douthit, however, I don't owe this lady a cent,” she says.

“And if this 50-year-old woman would spend her time more productively at trying to find a job, instead of abusing the judicial system with frivolous lawsuits, we would all be a lot better off,” Judge Judy continues.
