He’s reached “the danger zone,” has no other option

Jonah Hill’s weight has again turned him into tabloid fodder in 2015. The actor lost a lot of weight in 2011 but packed the pounds back on by the next year. A couple of months ago, he was photographed on set, looking at his heaviest ever.

Word online has it that, right now, Jonah is tipping the scales at more than 300 pounds (136 kg), after reverting to the same unhealthy lifestyle as before. His friends are reportedly worried that he might be eating himself to an early death, with OK! Magazine now reporting that he’s reached “the danger zone.”

Jonah Hill is out of options, wants The Rock to help him

Hill and Channing Tatum are working on “23 Jump Street,” the third film in the rebooted franchise. They star as leads but are executive producing as well, which means they have a say in the casting: according to OK!, they want The Rock to be involved as well.

Jonah is thinking that he could make the most of the collaboration if he also convinces The Rock to help him out with his mission to get back in shape. After all, if there is one man who can act as motivation on a journey to health and fitness, that must be The Rock.

To Jonah’s luck, The Rock is game, so far.

“Dwayne really likes Jonah and has even offered to work out with him and hook him up with a decent trainer. Jonah’s terrified of course, but totally up for it. He’s really got no choice,” an insider is quoted as saying.

No better man at it than The Rock

The first time that Jonah Hill lost the extra weight, an estimated 70 pounds (31.7 kg), he did it the old-fashioned way, through portion control and eating healthier and increased physical activity.

Obviously, since he’s a famous Hollywood actor, writer and producer and thus doesn’t lack financial resources, he did it with the help of a nutritionist and a personal trainer. At the time, he described it as the most difficult and challenging task he’d ever undertaken, but he knew he had to stick to it because his health was the focus.

Clearly, that didn’t work out, and he’s hoping The Rock will be able to help him stick to the healthy behaviors he will be picking up also under his guidance.

If there’s one thing that the former wrestler-turned-actor can do to perfection, that’s finding the right words to motivate others to get in shape. And you have to look no further than his most recent Instagram post (see below) for confirmation.

Always asked "What's a key to success?". One of the things is the willingness to put in the hard work.. when you're alone. Everyone works hard when eyes are on them. Boss watching, teachers, trainers, co-workers etc. Pushing yourself past your limits and working extremely hard when no one is watching is what makes all the difference in the world and sets you up for success. Best thing about being alone is that no one can judge you.. but you.
