14 DAY TRIAL // The iPhone 7 is expected to ship and make its official debut in stores later this week and while all those who preordered the device are now waiting to finally get their hands on it, here’s a quick glimpse into what you’re going to receive when the box arrives at your door.
Screenshots coming from China are believed to show the unboxing of the Jet Black iPhone 7 alongside a black version of the phone, thus revealing that Apple has made some changes not only to the phone itself but also to the packaging.
A few weeks back, we told you that Apple might change the design of the box to better reflect the upgrades available on the iPhone 7. Given the fact that the iPhone 7 is very similar in terms of design to its predecessor, the new box could show the back of the iPhone, as compared to the previous generations where the face of the iPhone was actually printed on the box.
Subtle box tweaks
And according to this leak, this indeed seems to be the case, clearly in an attempt from Apple to show that the new models come with improved cameras, including a dual-camera system for the Plus version.
What’s more, it appears that the Jet Black iPhone also ships with a black box, whereas the black, the Space Gray, the Gold, and the Rose Gold versions are packed in a white box.
Other than that, there’s nothing too exciting in these photos and there’s something missing which could make us have some doubts regarding the legitimacy of the leak. The audio adapter that Apple is offering with the iPhone 7 is nowhere to be seen in the box, and since this is quite an essential accessory for so many buyers, you would expect leakers to be particularly interested in it.
Fortunately, there’s not much to wait until we actually get our hands on the iPhone 7 box too, so we’ll see if these photos are fake or not in just a few days.
