Not using a case will leave quite a few marks on the phone

The Jet Black iPhone 7/7 Plus is Apple's big winner from last year. It comes with the similar hardware configuration as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, but features a slightly different color design.

As per Apple's official statement, the Jet Black version of iPhone 7/7 Plus is one of a kind, so those who purchase it should be proud they own such a phone:

The high-gloss finish of the jet black iPhone 7 is achieved through a precision nine-step anodization and polishing process. Its surface is equally as hard as other anodized Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use. If you are concerned about this, we suggest you use one of the many cases available to protect your iPhone.”

Unfortunately, getting the Jet Black iPhone 7 did not prove to be a wise choice for many consumers. In fact, not protecting the phone with a case was an even worse choice for those who bought the phone.

A couple of Jet Black iPhone 7 owners and Reddit users have published pictures of their smartphones showing what they look like after a few months of use. None of them had used a case for their Jet Black iPhone 7, which is why they look nothing short of … horrifying.

Even Apple warned customers that the Jet Black iPhone 7 was extremely prone to scratches and that those buying the phone should use a case for their devices.

But what's the point of purchasing a good-looking smartphone if you're going to keep it hidden in a plastic case? That's probably the main reason not many Jet Black iPhone 7 owners decided to go for a case.

If you plan on getting the Jet Black iPhone 7, we strongly recommend checking the gallery below and than decide whether to go for it or not.
