Apple is slowly but surely addressing all the productivity issues that impacted the iPhone X, and the company not only that substantially improves waiting times, but it also makes the device available in more countries.

Today, for example, Apple revealed that the iPhone X is available for purchase in 13 more countries, as announced earlier this month. This means that Apple’s anniversary model can be officially purchased in a total of 70 countries.

The countries that were added today are Albania, Bosnia, Cambodia, Kosovo, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

Huge demand in nearly every market

While Apple no longer provides first-weekend sales figures, the iPhone X has proved to be pretty successful in the first days of availability, especially in larger markets.

In the United States, for instance, the iPhone X became available for pre-order on October 27, and the original supply was sold out in less than 10 minutes. Shipping estimates then improved substantially to up to six weeks, with some early orders projected to be completed in mid-December. Analysts estimated that Apple prepared around 3 million iPhone X units for launch.

In South Korea, which is Samsung’s very own market, the iPhone X sold out in less than two minutes, with both retailers and carriers saying they ran out of units faster than they expected. The limited supply, however, was cited as one of the main reasons though, with people close to the matter saying that around 100,000 units were actually sent to South Korea for the beginning of sales.

At this point, Apple is working at full speed to get more units ready for shipping and it appears that the majority of problems have already been resolved.

Full production is already under way and demand should be aligned with production by the end of the year, which should translate to bigger sales in early 2018.
