Having achieved their goals with the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, France on November 13, 2015, ISIS propaganda agency Al-Hayat has started informing its users of its intention to move its operations to the Dark Web, as Scot Terban reports.

Al-Hayat is one of the most known sources of ISIS propaganda, providing media agencies around the world with original video content from Islamic State (ISIS, ISIL, Daesh) members.

The Al-Hayat group consists of numerous sites across the Internet, of which the Ansar Khilafah blog and the Shamikh forums are its biggest.

In a series of blog posts and messages sent to its users right after the ISIS Paris attacks, Al-Hayat has informed members that the agency's Shamikh forums will be moving their operations entirely to the Dark Net.

The news should not be a surprise since many ISIS-themed websites have moved most of their operations to the Dark Web (Dark Net, Darknet) over the summer.

Additionally, Mr. Terban also observed that besides Twitter and Facebook, the two social networks of choice for ISIS members, Al-Hayat has heavily started using Telegram.

Telegram is a chat client for desktops and mobiles that uses encryption to protect user conversations.

The Dark Web can be accessed only via the heavily encrypted and anonymized TOR network, using the Tor Browser or other browsers that support the protocol.
