14 DAY TRIAL // The drama around Isabella Cruise’s secret London wedding continues. Some hours ago, a report claimed that the reason her dad Tom Cruise didn’t attend was that no parent was invited, and not because he was snubbing his daughter for allegedly marrying outside the Church of Scientology.
Now, Page Six is saying that Cruise was actually at the wedding, even though reports in the media would have you believe otherwise. Nicole Kidman, Isabella’s mother, on the other hand, wasn’t - because this was a Scientology wedding and she wasn’t welcome.
Nicole was banned, Tom flew incognito
The wedding took place last month in London, but details of the ceremony only got out in the media yesterday. Isabella, who was raised a Scientologist, married IT specialist Max Parker, who reportedly had no ties with the Church.
The unofficial official line from camp Cruise is that he didn’t go to the wedding because Isabella and Max wanted it to be a very small affair, with only their closest friends there. He did, however, pay for the whole thing, including the stay at the Dorchester Hotel for the entire party.
Page Six says that this story is nothing short of dust in people’s eyes, because Cruise is trying to keep the fact that this was a Scientology wedding out of the press. As such, Nicole wasn’t invited: she didn’t even know about it.

If the implication that Nicole was somehow “banned” from the wedding is accurate, that gives credence to the report that the wedding was a Scientology one.
Apparently, even though Parker isn’t yet with the cult, he is well on his way to joining it. He’s spent some time with Cruise and they get along just fine.
Despite claims that the actor didn’t attend and was “cool” with it, insiders say that the ceremony was actually built around him, so that he could be there.
“Cruise had been in Europe before the wedding on Sept. 18, and it was all arranged so he would be there, which he was,” an insider reveals for the tab. “Cruise had previously been in China, where his latest film, ‘Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation’ opened Sept. 8.”
