iriver Japan has just launched a new portable media player that includes a hard drive with a high storage capacity of 6GB - iriver E10 - featuring a total weight of 76 grams, informs Mobile Whack.
As the industry's trend is to make every new device as small and capable as possible, the manufacturer said that its latest E10 is very slim, featuring only14mm, and has also Macromedia Flash Lite 2.0 capabilities.
Consequently, we can expect several Flash games included in this 'little package'.
Another interesting function is the one that enables the media player to handle photos, audio files, and also MPEG4 videos. The user can utilize the embedded USB capability in order to easily connect the device to a PC and transfer all kinds of data needed, including MP3, WMA and OGG audio files.
Moreover, the E10 features a voice recording task, which is said to be quite advanced, as well as the FM tuner that has also a sound-recording function. E10 includes also a user-friendly interface and a screen which enables the user to apply wallpapers.
iriver E10 will be available on the retail market starting June 16, in two color versions - the classic black and white - at an estimated price of JPY 25,980 or $230.
iriver has launched last month another portable music player - iriver clix- a device which promises exclusively enhanced features such as 2GB memory capacity, enhanced photo viewing, digital FM tuner, ultra-intuitive interface, video playback, and FlashLite game support.
In addition, the iriver clix offers express connection with the new Windows Media Player 11 and the public beta of MTV Networks' new URGE digital music service.
