It's November 3, 2017, the day when Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone becomes available for purchase from Apple Stores around the globe, and Australia and New Zealand are the first to get the iPhone X.

It's past noon in Sydney, Australia, on Friday, November 3, 2017, and people are waiting in long lines for a chance to buy the new iPhone X, which is now officially available for purchase from every Apple Store and Apple Retailer across the country, if you can afford one, of course.

Apple's CEO Tim Cook already welcomed the first Syndey customers who were lucky to buy the iPhone X, sharing a photo of them on Twitter. Both customers appear to have purchased a pair of iPhone X smartphones, despite the steep price tag of A$1,579, which is approximately $1,218 USD.

According to Reuters, there are now about 400 people lined up outside Apple's George Street store in downtown Sydney to buy the new device, which kinda crazy if you think about it, but that's always the case with a new major iPhone, and the iPhone X is indeed something special.

"Our vision has always been to create an iPhone that is entirely screen. One so immersive the device itself disappears into the experience. And so intelligent it can respond to a tap, your voice, and even a glance. With iPhone X, that vision is now a reality. Say hello to the future," says Apple.

iPhone X will set new records for Apple's revenue

During their earnings call for fiscal year Q4 2017, the Cupertino company forecasts next year's first quarter revenue to set new records due to the sales of iPhone X that start today and will continue to grow as we near the winter holidays. We bet every Apple fan dreams to get an iPhone X for Christmas, right?

iPhone X is the first iPhone model to feature an all‑new 5.8‑inch Super Retina OLED screen with a bezel-less design, offering accurate and stunning colors, high brightness, true blacks, and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It's also the first to replace Touch ID with Face ID for increased security and has a more powerful chip, the A11 Bionic.

You can find out more about the iPhone X via the dedicated page that Apple set up on its website, and we're waiting to hear your thoughts on the new device, as well as if you plan on buying one (or more) on day one, which is today.
