The next iPhone is expected to launch later this year in the fall, but everyone already seems to be super excited about this new model, including here concept designers who use the existing rumors to imagine what the upcoming Apple product could look like.

Imran Taylor, the creator of the iPhone X concept, is back with a video envisioning the anniversary edition of the iPhone which, according to so many sources, is expected to represent a major overhaul both in terms of looks and features.

As you can see in the video below, the imagined phone is indeed based on the existing rumors, so it uses a design based on the iPhone 4 - speculation has it that Apple would turn to glass for the front and the back of the new iPhone, while going for a metal frame just like on the iPhone 4.

The concept also envisions a new model with a 5.8-inch curved OLED display - once again, people close to the matter indicated that in addition to the standard 4.7-inch iPhone and the 5.5-inch Plus, Apple could also add a bigger model featuring a 5.8-inch display.

A white iPhone

At the same time, you can see the concept imagining more colors for the iPhone, including a ceramic white that perfectly makes sense given the fact that the same color and material is being used for the Apple Watch. A white iPhone has been rumored for some time now, but using ceramic, however, might not align with Cupertino’s plans for a glass-made model.

There are also some other features in this concept and everything seem to look quite nice, but once again, don’t expect Apple to make the iPhone look like this.

It goes without saying, however, that what these concepts do is to highlight the need for a more substantially redesigned iPhone and after launching an iPhone 7 that looks like the iPhone 6s that looks like the iPhone 6, Apple can’t really afford not to bring a major overhaul this year.
