Martin Hajek creates renders imagining the iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 is just around the corner, or at least that’s what we hope, with Apple expected to take the wraps off the anniversary model as soon as September.

And while no confirmation comes out of the Cupertino campus, leaks that reached the web lately provided us with a pretty close look at the iPhone 8, though some things are yet to be disclosed, like the position of the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

All the latest leaks have helped Martin Hajek design a new iPhone 8 concept to imagine what the new device could look like, and at first glance, there’s a good chance he’s very close to the real deal.

No-bezel display with sensor bar

First and foremost, it’s the display of the phone that is envisioned with almost no bezels, but with a sensor bar at the top that would be the home of facial recognition cameras. Touch ID could be replaced with facial recognition, and the top bar would be used to smoothly make room for the cameras, without eating too much screen space.

If the iPhone will indeed be offered in the colors imagined here, the sensor bar would be less visible on the black model, as Apple could opt to paint it in the same color as the rest of the body. But even if it doesn’t and the sensor bar is black in all cases, the full-black iPhone would still come with a hard to notice bar because it’d perfectly blend into the rest of the body.

The concept also imagines a white iPhone, a thing that for the time being appears to be out of discussion, as well as colored frames for the device, which in some configuration look pretty exquisite.

Again, keep in mind that these are just renders, and even though they’re based on leaks that are more or less close to the real thing, a healthy amount of skepticism is still being recommended, especially when it comes to the color lineup.
