As we can see in a leaked photo of the iPhone 6s Plus' battery, the new 5.5-inch iPhone will come with a 2,750 mAh battery, which should still keep it alive as long as the 6 Plus' 2,915 mAh one does.

Four days before the actual release and against Apple's known aversion to releasing exact numbers on their devices' battery capacity, a leaked photo published by the Chinese apple.club.tw website shows the actual capacity of the new iPhone 6s Plus battery.

In the photo, we see that the iPhone 6s Plus should come with a 2,750 mAh energy tank, which, even though smaller than the one of the older 6 Plus model, should still keep it running at least as long as the latter does.

The iPhone 6s Plus comes with a smaller battery when compared with the 6 Plus' one, but with the same battery life

As we can see from Apple's iPhone comparison page, both 5.5-inch iPhones should provide up to 24 hours of talk time on 3G and a standby time of 16 days.

Moreover, the iPhone 6s Plus and 6 Plus should also have a matching 12 hours of Internet use, up to 14 hours of HD video playback, as well as up to 80 hours of audio playback.

Apple has announced today that the iPhone 6s Plus will arrive on September 25 in its retails stores, in its apple.com online store, and from authorized sellers and select carriers.

The 6s Plus will be available in space gray, silver, gold, and rose gold finishes for 24 monthly payments of $31, or $37 through Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program designed to allow users to get a new iPhone each year.
