Calendar and Spotlight have new splash screens

Immediately after seeding the fifth Beta build of the anticipated iOS 9 mobile operating system to developers enrolled in the Apple Developer program, Apple started seeding the third Public Beta build of iOS 9 to users worldwide.

The iOS 9 Public Beta 3 build is live now as an OTA (Over the Air) update via the App Store app of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch device, but only if you're enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program.

If you're running iOS 9 Public Beta 2, you should update your device to today's Public Beta 3 build as soon as possible in order to get the awesome new features presented below for your viewing pleasure.

Here's what's new in iOS 9 Public Beta 3

The very good news, however, is that the third Public Beta build of iOS 9 brings some awesome new features that we have discovered earlier and want to share with you. We also recommend checking the attached screenshots, so you can understand them better.

Among the new features introduced by Apple in iOS 9 Public Beta 3, as well as Beta 5 for developers, we can mention a bunch of new, beautiful wallpapers, Wi-Fi calling for select mobile carriers, several keyboard tweaks, including a "Text Replacement" feature, and new splash screens for the Calendar app and Spotlight search.

Additionally, the new iOS 9 Beta builds introduce various improvements for the CarPlay interface, the ability to display app suggestions in the lock screen and app switcher, based on app usage and your location, a new "Shuffle All" option in the Music app, as well as an all-new Wi-Fi Assist setting in Cellular.
