14 DAY TRIAL // As expected, Apple has just started seeding the second Beta builds of the upcoming iOS 9.3.3, OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, tvOS 9.2.2, and watchOS 2.2.2 operating systems to public beta testers.
Last evening, we reported on the fact that Apple seeded the Beta 2 builds of the next maintenance updates of its operating systems, including iOS 9.3 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices, OS X El Capitan 10.11 for Macs, watchOS 2.2 for Apple Watch, and tvOS 9.2 for Apple TV, to registered developers into the Apple Developer program.
However, as stated in our initial report, it takes about 24 hours for the new Beta versions to land for public beta testers. So, as promised, we're informing our readers who are already using the previous Beta release of iOS 9.3.3, Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan, watchOS 2.2.2, and tvOS 9.2.2 to update to Beta 2 right now.
Public beta testers can update now
The Beta 2 update is live on the Mac App Store for OS X users, as well as via the built-in Software Updater for iOS, watchOS, and tvOS users. As you can see from the screenshot attached on the right, the iOS 9.3.3 Beta 2 has 47.3MB on our iPhone 6 device, and it took only a few minutes for it to be downloaded and installed.
The iOS 9.3.3, OS X 10.11.6, watchOS 2.2.2, and tvOS 9.2.2 are small maintenance updates that only fix bugs reported by users in the previous releases. They do not introduce new features or improvements besides bug fixes. The final builds should be available sometime after the WWDC 2016 event that kicks off next week on June 13.
