14 DAY TRIAL // Today, July 5, Apple decided to release the second Beta of the upcoming iOS 10, macOS Sierra 10.12, tvOS 10, and watchOS 3 operating systems, as well as Xcode 8 IDE to developers that have a registered/paid Apple Developer account.
Apparently many developers, we know, have waited for Apple to release a second Beta build of the OSes mentioned above for some time now, even if there hasn't been one month since the release of the first one, as there were some nasty bugs, at least for iOS 10, that made it impractical for daily use.
Therefore, those of you who were running the Beta 1 release of any of Apple's upcoming operating systems on your registered devices, can now upgrade to iOS 10 Beta 2 (14A5297c), macOS Sierra 10.12 Beta 2 (16A239j), watchOS 3 Beta 2 (14S5278d), tvOS 10 Beta 2 (14T5284d), and Xcode 8 Beta 2 (8S162m) builds.
These new versions are live and accessible in your Apple Developer account as IPSW images for iOS 10 Beta 2, or from the Mac App Store if you're running the latest macOS Sierra 10.12 on your registerd Mac. Also, you can now update the Xcode 8 IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to the new Beta version.
According to the MacRumors website, there are multiple improvements in the iOS 10 Beta 2 release, such as the Messages App Store with the new sticker packs, the icons for 3D Touch shortcuts on flashlight and time in Control Center have changed, and the brightness settings for the flashlight have been renamed to low, medium and bright light from low, medium, and high intensity.
Furthermore, there's now a new "Low Quality Image Mode" in the Messages section of Settings, and it looks like Apple's new organ donor signup functionality has been implemented by default in the Medical ID tab of the Health app. Also, the Filters icon in Mail app's bottom toolbar has been changed.
iOS 10, macOS Sierra, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10 coming this fall
As you might know already, Apple announced the future of its operating systems during the keynote address of the WWDC (Worldwide Developer Conference) 2016 event that took place in mid-June, and it promised that the final releases of iOS 10, macOS Sierra 10.12, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10 would be available to all users, for supported devices, this fall.
There will be many new features coming to these operating systems, such as the ability to remove some of the default apps in iOS 10, as well as a new lock screen with 3D Touch-enabled functionality, or the implementation of the Siri intelligent personal assistant in macOS Sierra, and lots of fitness goodies for Apple Watch owners in watchOS 3, so make sure that you keep an eye on Apple section for the latest news.
