14 DAY TRIAL // Intex' Aqua series has just been expanded with yet another Android smartphone, the Aqua SUPER. Aimed at mid-range market, Intex Aqua SUPER offers decent specs and an affordable price, so Android fans might be interested in getting this device.
Intex Aqua SUPER mixes low- and mid-range specs since the Indian OEM had to make some compromises to make the smartphone affordable enough, price-wise.
Speaking of which, Intex Aqua SUPER can be purchased in India for Rs 10,390 ($155 / €145) outright, a new report confirms.
The smartphone is now available in four colors: Black, Champagne, Grey and White. It comes with a 1-year display breakage warranty and a bag pack.
Moving on to specs, the Aqua SUPER flaunts a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.
The phone includes a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit and 3GB RAM.
A good-looking phone that might be slightly overpriced
Intex Aqua SUPER packs 16GB of internal memory expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Dual-SIM and 4G LTE support are included as well, along with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio and GPS with AGPS support.
Another selling point of the mid-range smartphone is Android 5.1 Lollipop that comes pre-installed on the phone. Other apps that customers will find preloaded on the phone include Intex Play, Intex zone, One Drive, Sashakt, Maxthon and many others.
Last but not least, Intex Aqua SUPER features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
