The Galaxy C9 Pro is a pretty decent mid-range Android smartphone that's been recently launched in China. Up until now, we thought the device would be exclusive to the Mainland, but Samsung definitely plans to bring the C9 Pro to additional markets.

We can confirm an international version of the Galaxy C9 Pro will be launched in the coming weeks since the phone has just received its Wi-Fi certification. The phone goes by model number SM-C900F, which is why we're certain this is the international version of the Galaxy C9 Pro.

And since the phone's been getting its Wi-Fi certification, it means Samsung plans to release it very soon. Although we don't have a launch date yet, it shouldn't take too long for the South Korean company to bring the phone to other markets.

It's also worth mentioning that Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is available in China for around $470 outright, but the phone might be slightly more expensive (or cheaper) in other markets.

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy C9 Pro is a decent mid-range smartphone that ships with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system on board.

However, we don't rule out an Android 7.0 Nougat update, even though Samsung has been pretty slow on delivering major software updates.

Those of you interested in buying the device will want to know what exactly makes this Galaxy C9 Pro special.

First of all, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, which are usually features reserved for high-end phones.

In addition, the phone boasts a huge 6-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. On the back, the Galaxy C9 Pro features a 16-megapixel photo snapper, while in the front there's a secondary 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by a large 4,000 mAh battery and includes both microSD card slot and fingerprint sensor (under the front Home button).
