14 DAY TRIAL // The holidays are getting near and Instagram decided to bring something special to its users and added holiday stickers to its Stories section. The new feature comes with some customizable tools to make tour stories stand out.
Instagram Stories was updated with fun holiday stickers. All you need to do in order to discover the stickers is take a photo or video and then tap on the new stickers button next to text and drawing tools. Instagram introduced customizable stickers for weather, the current time, and your location.
You simply need to choose or search for your location in order to add such a sticker. The story won’t be featured on the location page, but your friends can tap the sticker to learn more about the location.
You can also make stickers of your own, move them around, pick from different styles, and make them bigger or smaller. The new feature doesn’t limit the number of stickers that you can add and it brings additional vibration to your photos.
New holiday stickers and features for recording video
Instagram also launched a set of holiday stickers that will be available inside the app for the next few weeks. The candy cane brush is available among the drawing tools and makes your pictures pop out. Stickers for marking the new year will be made available over the next few days.
Aside from stickers, Instagram announced that it released a new “Hands-Free” feature for recording video with just one tap. Users no longer need to press and hold in order to recording videos, as the feature makes it easier to capture moments and share them on the network. You can add text to pictures or videos and adjust the text size by using a new slider.
Moreover, iOS users can save their entire story from the past 24 hours to the camera roll as a single video. Recently, Instagram also received an update for saving posts for later viewing.
